LuminanceParticipantHey Everyone,
I just finished a new beat. It’s a remix of Sean Kingston’s "Take you there". Kind of dancey… kind of trancey… same old ish. I can’t figure out my genres. Anyway, constructive criticism is always welcomed. Hope you like!
~Lumi
EDIT: Song has been removed to make room for my new "Rihanna – Disturbia (Luminance Prog Mix)". You can download these songs and more from http://www.DJLuminance.com.

acheadKeymasterThis is probably my favorite remix of yours, especially since it’s able to make a Sean Kingston song (I really do not like him) listenable. I really like the light-trance feel it has. And don’t worry about finding your genres. Experiment! I did a mix once that used a lot more tribal type stuff, which I wasn’t that good at or experienced in, but it was probably my most popular remix. Again, great job!

LuminanceParticipantHey thanks Liam, I really appreciate it. Glad you liked the beat!
I liked your Rumors mix. Creative idea. The production was really good and everything seemed to have a spot in the frequency spectrum. Instruments weren’t really fighting each other.

ChunkyEatsMyDinnerParticipantOh no, you beat me to it!
Still im sure you dont mind a
I really like this, definitely playable where I work.
There is some really nice pads in there and a great score.
As usual im listening on my laptop so cant listen properly but the hi hat shuffle
sounds a little bright for my taste.
Other than that cannot offer any critisism, maybe we should collaborate on the next one!

CasqueParticipantThe energy in this is pretty amazing! and i have to agree with the first commentor that this makes sean kingston actually listenable (is that a word?). anyway, i love the whole feel of the mix, and i think it’s all balanced really well. keep up the great work!

fatenkParticipantits a remix with a lot of energy. I like the lead in the background. Maybe you should make the kick a little bit louder (it’s only my subjektive opinion). Overall its a quality remix
cheers from Poland 😉AdSense 336x280August 9, 2008 at 1:59 am #655039
ToRReSParticipantI love the intro! As always very danceable! 😉 Nice work!

qwerty1Participanti really like this, but i’m not feeling the kick, hats and claps… they sound too generic. sound like those flstudio drums. the snare roll is nice though. any chance i could redo the drums and add a few elements of my own in as a DFEKT/Luminance Collab? It’s a great opportunity to increase your fanbase, as i, myself have a large fanbase of over 80000+ in new zealand and australia alone. please reply by email, i am very busy and will not have time to return t this thread. @gmail.com">daws.ask@gmail.com
also, i could post the mix on bebo and myspace, probably the 2 most popular social networks – http://www.bebo.com/DFEKT http://www.myspace.com/372639761
