| I'm thinking of laying out on the waves gold bundle. Its quite a lot of cash though. Do they offer much more than what is already bundled with logic in terms of sound quality. Everyone seems to swear by the renaissance compressor and the s1. |

| I dnt think its worth it at all. I think people swear by it to jusdtify why they spent all that money. fact of the matter is youll get more processors than youknow what to do with. I think there is better stuff out there |

| Personally, I love the waves plugs... and all of the engineers at the studio I loiter around use them. I dont think I could do it without the waves lol. There is a bunch of unnecessary stuff in there though... Mainly Im in love with the Reverbs, Delays, Compressors. |

Yes the IR parametric reverb is nice as well as the SSL 4000 VST pack but thats about it and the SSL 4000 isnt all that, personally I have found iZotopes Ozone 3 to be one of the better mastering plugins i have ever found. Waves is a little outdated and the Mercury bundle isnt worth the price all in fact if you got the diamond bundle and paid all that money all youd prolly use is the reverbs delays and compressors. So def not worth it. Get it for free  |

| They're good but very expensive. And you need to use the ilock dongle, And you have to pay an additional yearly fee. I wouldn't bother if I were you. |

Yes i agree with the compressor. I use that alot in pro tools.
Not only does it sound great, it has a very good visual representation of what your manipulating/tweaking. |

| Yes IR reverb is one of the best convolution reverbs to me, C1 compressor, Eq's and L"/L3 limiter are great, but if you are spending money see if it's worth it to buy a UAD pack, your CPU will thank you. |
