Well if there was ever a guy who wished to be a modern day piano genius, that'd me be. Of course, I can't play worth 2 s**ts. So I like me some synthesizers.
Tonight I sat down and made a wicked Malstrom synth patch in Reason 3.0 and it inspired me. Attached is something... well I don't know what to call it. It's kind of like Crystal Method meets Beethoven. It has kind of classical piano type roots but is played through this synth (by me) and just has this very soundtrack, very story, very nifty emotional vibe to it. I've certainly never done a track like this before. It's probably the quickest track I've ever made to. 1 take, straight off the top 3 1/2 minutes later this was done.
