In an effort to enhance ACAPELLAS4U even further we have added the ability for all members to check their 'Upload Stats.'

This new feature is accessed by going to the "Acapellas" link in the main navigation menu and it's labeled "Your Upload Log".

Here's a screenshot example below of how it looks:



and your activity is sorted in date order (newest first) and it shows all of your upload activity and the result (whether the file was removed or whether you received a bonus).

So hopefully we will never see another post about "Where's my bonus as I uploaded x*x two weeks ago"

Hi WhiteWolf, good question.

Credited, Deleted simply means that the file was credited to the member's account. The member would have received a bonus credit as a thank you.

The deleted part is a little misleading as this enhancement is a 'port' from what the administrator of the uploads sees. It simply means that the log transaction of an upload was deleted. NOT the actual file that's been deleted.

If an upload wasn't accepted then you'll simply see Deleted

I hope this is clear enough... telling a short story minus a long explanation was NEVER my strong point WhiteWolf.

Yeah I've been a member of acapellas4u for about 3 months now, and all i did was just download acapellas. Then just the other day i tried to upload an acapella which wasn't on the list, and saw "Credited Deleted" on the upload log section the next day. I thought my upload was Deleted, but when I checked my download log, I had a bonus download. I thought they wouldn't give me a bonus download if they just deleted my upload (would they?) so what i did was search for the acapella i uploaded from their list, and there it was! So what I did was I uploaded around 40 more acapellas yesterday, and today, when I checked, all of them were credited.
I'm happy to contribute to this site.

Hey dubfox, The Uploading feature is currently down due to maintenance. Shouldnt be too long till it's back up

Is the uploads link down?? I've been trying for a few days, when i click upload, it just brings me back to the main forum page! Please help! Got tons of new ones i wanna post up, thanks!

Dude, check out the "Test Pressings" forums - The place where members upload their tracks/remixes for others to listen & give em feedback

Everytime I try to upload an acapella, it take me back to the forum index. Is uploading under maintenance?

Hey Choo, how you doing? Uploads have been disabled for some much needed behind the scene maintenance. Should be up in a week or two if everything runs smoothly.

how long does it take for you to check the newly uploaded acapellas?
I've uploaded bout 15 a week ago and still don't see if they were credited.

Ok, ive just uploaded a pella then ive got the same like credited deleted status, but i CANT see the actual pella in the list. Ive tried the link in the upload log to reach the uploaded file but ive got the Alphabet list page of pellas.

Now ive did some improvement on the pella then uploaded again with an another new one.

Hope these will be in the list!

I uploaded two pellas and only one shows up in my list and it has a line through it. I am confused. Neither pella is already on the site.

Yo I apologize for swearin on the boards. I was actually copying and pasting from my notepad. Everything is in Caps and I do swear a whole lot. Hopefully u guys here accept my Apology.
