But then again its pretty good at what it does - its never gonna be as good as the real thing. Does anyone know what another good program would be, maybe better than VDJ?
VDJ is an awsome program, someone said the bpm is off, that is true but they r equally off so the songs r still played in sync. i personally do not like the new video ones. i use to have 4.3 but im using a version 3 one. the only thing worth doing is downloading effects off their website.

SOme of the skins are neat. They mock real hardware.
I personally think that each and every dj play with what ever they preffer. Whether virtual or real decks. It's not about what u use, it's all about the quality of ur mixing and rocking that party to the core!!! So let's stop arguein about nothin. Just because I drive a Toyota doesnt mean everyone should drive one. Different strokes for different folks!!!
I use CUE (allmost the same as VDJ) in combination with the iCDX players and DXM01usb from numark. Works great as the software recognises my mixer and the icdx as controllers. I tried the time code pack Virtual Vinyl, in that setup i would like to have at least one extra deck. The fact that it works with all codecs makes it great.
I agree 100% with Pella Pushers. The question isnt whether you should buy a cpu program or not its WHEN you should buy it. If you truly want to understand djing you would get some tables or cdjs first and learn the basic principles of djing for yourself and not let a cpu program do it all for you. Then once you have that understanding it will be better for you when you start using a cpu program.
hi
anybody here bought virtual dj and can dowload plugins from http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/view.html?type=tool ? (licensed user status needed)
I need one plugin, can someone download it for me and send it to me?
would be much appriciated
Retodded i have tried Traktor personally, i think it has uneccessary functions. Maybe it depends on the versions. Which version r u using? Which one would u recomend for me. I still say Mixvibes 3Dex is the best and user-friendly. Im currently playing around with ableton...it's interesting.
VDJ is good but not good for beatmatch some stuff..(how come it wont reconize 3/3 beats) and it also wont do good acapella matching (I use adobe auditition 1.5 it is greate program)
ived used vdj for 3 years now and i agree with most of the feedback that all of ya'll have said it does freeze and the scratching im sure is even harder, this program is more for creating your own mash ups and remixes and record em, but for djing live serato is much much better, tried it once on tables and fell in love with it!!!!http://www.acapellas4u.co.uk/#
When I record with virtual DJ, I hear some weir cracks and stuff, but when I record with Traktor (also computer DJ program) I have no problems! My hercules midi controler was optimized for virtual dj, but it works just as good with Traktor
