Hey does anyone know any good sites other than palms out sounds where you can track down the sampled songs from more popular dance songs? Lately I've been djing a fair few 70s and 80s nights and when I drop the songs that were sampled to make more recent songs they tend to go off, particularly 80s songs that daft punk have sampled ie cola bottle baby and release the beast.
I hate blogs so preferably a well designed site. |

whilst i'm sure there are probably websites out there.
you can't beat reading the sleeve of the new tracks that (i think by law) write down where the cleared sample originated from.
failing that, what's wrong with blogs? if you can't be arsed to read 'em just use your find function, type in the artist or track name and you'll find what you're looking for in half the time. |
