What’s up guys? I’m back with another thread. I’ve had Live for a while, and I’m still getting used to it but I have a question? Let’s say I wanted to take a song a chop it up into a sample. How would I go about doing this in Live 3.4?(I already know how to rip cds and turn MP3’s into .wav files, so no need to expalin that part.) I just want to use only a portion of the song(in Ableton’s case The audio clip) and get rid of the rest. How do I pull this off? I need this explained in DETAIL. Thanks in advance…..

Come on guys. I need some help here….
Ok, someone on the ableton message board told me what to do. For those that don’t know, to do this you must use the “Consolidate” command. You can read more about it in the Live 3 manual on pages 25, and 143.
