Something I made for GYBO. My mixes usually contain this many tracks but much more messily laid out :D

Something along the lines of this.

I know it's pretty messy without any labeling on different patterns and my extensive use of the blocks, but it's just what I'm used to :P I also never use this scaling in the playlist, it was just for the purpose of getting the entire track in the shot :)

But i use FL studio and my songs look verry crowded and messy, but at least it still makes sense to me :smt001

A lot of my songs tend to be really basic, running only FL Studio 10 at this point. I notice that there are people who run playlist track that contain patterns, and they also have a seperating bar at the bottom with an individual sample but I have failed to realize what this is and how to make my playlist look like that. -_-

I find it actually detracts from your songs, if you're trying to lay down a mix, you can get so caught up in what it "looks like" that you forget the important part, what is sounds like. I find I have to press play and walk away from the PC and hear it from another perspective, not attached to all the bars and lines to really hear it.
