If you haven’t realised already, uploading’s currently disabled – Sorry for the inconvenience.

Because of YOUR donations we’ve reinvested back into the site for this new and exciting project. Hopefully in doing so will mean a much more efficient and user friendly upload area.

This massive development will include multiple uploads and a progress monitor! So no more waiting around guessing blindly when your upload’s going to be finished

Thanks for all of the continued support and to all of the regular contributors, just hang onto those acapellas in the mean time and we really look forward to announcing when we’re ready to release the new upload section!

Cool! If possible, is there a way we could upload a file then rename it before we actually submit it?

A like to keep ma acapellas as Artist – Track.mp3 instead of the ‘_’ and a doubt am the only 1.

If that’s possible it would be good!

Hmm. May a ask why not? A see websites (Myspace for example) where you can choose the track name, then upload it and it will show up as the name you put it as.

So will you tell me how to link back? Please?

You certainly can ask WHY and I will simply reply and say we won’t recode the site to work in that manner. As for MYSPACE, well, the words ‘different’ & ‘league’ spring to mind. As in Prequel, they will have the Creme de la Creme of web programmers, web dev’s, coders etc,, here, I’m sorry but we all have to settle for me and my little army of assistants hehe

With regards to the link back that’s off-topic so would you please mind answering your PM that I sent you and also remove your sig text about this.

1st of all, welcome but your post is in the wrong section. The section you need this post in is the section.

For music questions try the forum.

For PC related topics post in the section.

As for education, it depends what you want to be educated on. But am not sure there is anything academically-related on this site.

We’re nearly there with the devlopment of the new upload feature.

We’d need 10 volunteers (regular acapella uploaders preferred) to PM me. We want it throughly tried ‘n tested (as Jules would say) before we put it LIVE.

Nice to see some activity since we’ve put it LIVE but after having taken an analysis of the ‘good’ uploads as to the ‘bad’ ones it appears that ye’all need to READ the rules a little better that’s why they are there.

Remember we don’t accept ANY files with a bitrate lower than 192kbps. Please check the bitrates of ALL files before attempting to upload.

No one’s left any comments or complaints so we’ll assume you’re happy with it all.

A lot of files are falling short of the new rules. Please, please follow them

You won’t receive any additional credits for any files that end up in our trash folder.

2 main checks please on the bitrate and if we already have it DON’T upload it, do a thorough search on the artist name AND a part of the track name aswell.

Cheeeeeeeeers + do carry on, it’s marvellous to see all these new files coming in – it’s been a while..

* REPLACING FILES IN THE COLLECTION:-
o Complete acapellas to replace any files marked as ‘incomplete’ are most welcome. Simply label the file(s) as artist_-_title_(FULL_acapella).mp3 to be sure it’s not missed
o Higher bitrate acapellas are also welcome to replace lower quality files if we have them. Please label these files as artist_-_title_(BETTERQUALITY_acapella).mp3

* FILE EXTENSIONS :-
o We only accept files with the filename extension ‘.mp3’

* BIRATES:-
o We only permit bitrates of 192kbps or higher

* FILESIZES:-
o 1mb is the Minimum file size for ALL acapellas
o 0.50mb is the Minimum file size for ALL Dj Tools
o 15mb is the Maximum filesize
o A Maximum of 3 files can be uploaded at any one time – just click the ‘Browse’ button to add more.
o VBR (Variable BitRate) files are not permitted. However you can convert any VBR files you have using a freeware tool called Switch.
