Eh?
Well frnd i think your advice is cr@p.
Acid 6 is a top of the range audio editor...the idea that simply switching over to another top of the range editor particularly Audition - which is by far the most complex editor availiable is worse than useless..
No doubt In Silico can assist ya bowener...don't listen to this nonsense...Acid 6 will do that for sure...
I think....... |

With ACID I believe you may need a seperate VST/DX effect plugin. As far as I know there's no phase inversion for waveforms within the program.
Adobe Audition has Cool edit inside an audio sequencer, though personally I find that program quite daunting in addition highly cluttered. Sound forge is another option, but if you just want an audio editor, go Audacity or Goldwave. Has some of the basic options, but I'm not sure if it supports certain options but hey, it's free open-source software.
Before anyone asks I use Sony ACID Pro 6.0b; Sound Forge 8 for sound design/acapella ripping. |

In Sound Forge, menu Process, Invert/Flip. As easy as that.

Most medium to high end audio editors have the power to be able to invert audio. Old apps such as Cool Edit Pro (now Adobe audition) required you just to have have the instrumental and vocal mix open, copy the full waveform from one of them (CTRL+C) and then paste it into the other one (CTRL+V). In the dialog box that appears it would give you the option to invert the sound you are pasting (or do an invert mix).
You'll also find the Invert command on the menus of most editors. If I remember rightly even Goldwave (a freeware editor) had it and that was pretty basic. But to my knowledge, I don't think Acid can't do this. |
