okay so wot do i do,
i open up cubase, i have a hard drive of samples
wots the first thing i do and how do i go about doing it
then
how do u go about just creating a beat and wot do i click etc.......

Get a book...
There's a series called 'The Fast Guide to...' and they're available in the IT section of most highstreet bookshops (apart from small WHSmiths).
Get the Fast Guide to Cubase and within 20 pages you'll be rocking.

Also,
there seems to be a Cubase SX magazine special in the shops at the moment. Gives you a big book and some tutorials if you want to save on buying Fast Guide...
