Here at Acapellas4u we regularly hold fantastic competitions with absolutely Awesome prizes! Keep an eye out within here for the next one and you could be a winner!
Ok, so we've had all of the entires for round two. Now it's time to do the voting
Every member has a MAXIMUM of 5 points to vote for their favourite(s).
It is up to you as to how you choose to use your 5 points.
They can all be given to just one firm favourite, or you can choose to distribute your points to 1 other entry also.
House Remix Competition judges (acapella & Playmaker) will each have 10 points for voting with a maximum spread of 5 individuals.
Please vote as soon as you can so we can tot up all the figures and work out whose going onto Round 3.
Here's the format we're looking for for eveyone wanting to vote.
If you feel that one person's mix is superb then you can give all 5 points to that indivdual (in turn making them very happy I'm sure)
jimbob: 5 points
Or, if you like another remix as well and sort of torn between the two then are more than welcome to split your 5 points to two individuals (no more).
jimbob: 3 points. susieb: 2 points.
We cannot stress this enough but all tracks will be judged according to creativity, overall sound production, arrangement and overall "is it good enough for todays clubs / dance floors.
After you vote one of the mods will take note of the points distribution and edit your post to hide them.
Below is a really handy click and listen link section - so it will save you all having to scroll through all the posts to get to listen to any of the mixes - how cool is that! So there's no excuse not to vote.
I'd personally like to say a huge thankyou to all the staff and everyone else whose had any input into the competition so far. We wish to thank Ableton for donating there gifts (love you guys).
Not trying to be a dick but I think the vocal was a poor choice. I think with a better vocal there would have been more finished entrys from the orignal contest entrants.

So are you guys not voting
Val,
No worries - didn't mean it like that - i'll be voting.
Don't get mE wrong, these were all Fairly nIce to listeN to, albEit time-consuming. SoM of these were Uber-gay, Some ICould listen to over and over, others were horrible but only one was truly GOOD in my opinion. I shall award (again, same vote last time for me I believe) all 5 of my allotted points to the one who created a mix that made extremely good use of the vocals included, and actually made them sound GOOD! Most of these, the vocals were just slapped on like cheese on a hotdog without any thought to integrating other condiments (read: musical elements). There's only 1 true winner, 1 guy who took the vocals and made a real solid production out of them. Sure, there may have been 1 track with a better beat, but it didn't use the vocals well and it was NOT on key. So without further adue:

All the more reason for staying an active member. But as you are a member, please feel free to listen to all the tracks and have your vote in accordance with the voting guidelines in the very first post.
