Okay, promise I'm not gonna tell my life story, but...
Back in mid 90s (when I was a teen), I played assistant dj to my half sister, who was a local dj for a radio station in my home town. To make a long story short, I got first pick of all the material that came thru the station (it usually came in doubles or triples), cause I was the one who came up with the morning and traffic jam mixes. Most of the hip hop I took with me to Atlanta. I recently made a trip back to my mother's home and found a ton of 12" and CDs with acapellas in my old room, which is how I've been able to upload lately.
Some of this s**t is rare, and some of this s**t seems to me like a bunch of has-been local artists. The majority of the "better acapellas" are obviously already in the site's database. Maybe you guys can tell me if any of these are worth uploading... |
