This is a remix or beatmix I did of Peter Framptons "Do You Feel(Like I Do)". I added Donna Summers "I Feel Love" pella. It's a ruff mix in the sense that I am still playing around with the placement of the pella. Any feedback appreciated.

Update: 2/10/06

I have taken the track down for the time being I am in the middle of overhauling it.

Hi The Cutter, I did'nt take to it, but I can see what you are trying to achieve. Apart from vocal placement as you suggested, the key is wrong and needs a bit of work to get Donna Summer's vocal to fit with Peter Framptons piece.

If you can do it, which I hope you do, and get it right, while trying to give a different angle to a big big classic, then I will be over the moon for you.

If you don't try, you won't succeed.

Take care.

Anisina,

Thank you for your honest opinion. It is exaxtly what I needed to hear. I am new to this whole blending/mashing concept. I do know that the key of the vocal is off but have never used software to correct the difference. I am used to being in a studio and working with musicians so when the key is off you correct as you play. So it is a whole different story when trying to create these types of mixes.

If you or anyone else can suggests ways to correct the key using software I would be very appreciative of your knowledge. I am currently working with Acid Pro 4, Soundforge 6 and Vegas Pro 3.

By the way other than the pella being off what does anyone think about the music remix? I cut up all kinds of samples from the song especially from all the solos etc.

Thanks again,

The Cutter
