...take your pick of late 70's, early 80's pop rock bands from the era.....

Journey, Phil Colllins/Genesis, Heart, Fleetwood Mac, The Motels, Peter Gabriel, Loverboy...too many to name. Although each of these bands have their own distinct style/sound, it is all pretty good melodic rock music from that era and similar to Foreigner in some regards. Just research late 70's/early 80's pop-rock or rock on Google and you'll find more. Although 'Cold as Ice' was a pretty big song..and I like M.O.P...I still don't like that 'Cold as Ice' track they put out with the vocal sample on it. Hope you ain't askin 'cause of that track!!!! Shocked

One Idea: try the Music Genome Project

http://www.pandora.com/
(20 Minutes are Free)

Can you help me discover more music that I'll like?

Those questions often evolved into great conversations. Each friend told us their favorite artists and songs, explored the music we suggested, gave us feedback, and we in turn made new suggestions. Everybody started joking that we were now their personal DJs.

We created Pandora so that we can have that same kind of conversation with you.

Enjoy

You've all missed the most obvious one:

Lou Gramm (Foreigner's lead singer) learned every vocal lick he knows from the great Paul Rodgers of Bad Company, Free ('All Right Now'), and now with Queen.

Listen, and compare....
