Here at Acapellas4u we regularly hold fantastic competitions with absolutely Awesome prizes! Keep an eye out within here for the next one and you could be a winner!
Ok, so we've had all of the entires for round one. Now it's time to do the voting.
Every member has a MAXIMUM of 5 points to vote for their favourite(s).
It is up to you as to how you choose to use your 5 points.
They can all be given to just one firm favourite, or you can choose to distribute your points to 1 other entry also.
House Remix Competition judges (acapella & Playmaker) will each have 10 points for voting with a maximum spread of 5 individuals.
Please vote as soon as you can so we can tot up all the figures and work out whose going onto Round 2. (we are having a round 2 are we?)
Here's the format we're looking for for eveyone wanting to vote.
If you feel that one person's mix is superb then you can give all 5 points to that indivdual (in turn making them very happy I'm sure)
jimbob: 5 points
Or, if you like another remix aswell and sort of torn between the two then are more than welcome to split your 5 points to two individuals (no more).
jimbob: 3 points. susieb: 2 points.
We cannot stress this enough but all tracks will be judged according to creativity, overall sound production, arrangement and overall "is it good enough for todays clubs / dance floors.
After you vote one of the mods will take note of the points distribution and edit your post to hide them.
Crin will be adding a really handy click and listen link section to this thread later on today - so it will save you all having to scroll through all the posts to get to listen to any of the mixes - how cool is that! So there's no excuse not to vote.
I'd personally like to say a huge thankyou to all the staff and everyone else whose had any input into the competition so far. We wish to thank Ableton for donating there gifts (love you guys).
Original Rd1 link containing all the entries can be found here

L'approvazione, in modo da noi ha avuto tutti i entires per quello rotondo. Ora è tempo di fare il voto. Ogni membro ha un MASSIMO di 5 punti da votare per il loro favourite(s). Spetta voi quanto a come scegliete usare i vostri 5 punti. Possono tutti essere dati a appena un favorito costante, o potete scegliere distribuire i vostri punti alla 1 altro entrata anche. It was interesting to see how everybody used the apcapella supplied, as it was quite a hard one to work with. I was surprised at the different styles that came out of this round. My votes are based on the ones I enjoyed listening the most and also how well they'd go down in a club. So My votes go to:-
First Let me say "Good Job" to all of those who entered. This was not an easy decision for I like more remixes than was possible to vote for. Because of this I almost did not vote( I think the voting criteria needs to be adjusted but that's just my two cents). So for those I could not vote for my sincerest apologies(I really wanted too). For those who do not make it to the next rounds your effort is not in vain.

Cutter, thanks for taking the time to vote but I'm afraid the maximum number of people you can spread votes across is two. Them's the rules. Please revote and we'll put them in the ballet box with the rest.
Fact of the matter this track is the only one which actually made good use of the vocals and got them right on key. There were a couple of other tracks that got the vocals on key (which HONESTLY is not that hard, come on y'all) but didn't really use them to the full effect. More like they were thrown in just to qualify for the contest. De-fine's version sounds like it was made to fit the vocals.
There are a lot of good house tracks here that seem to have only included the vocals for the sake of the contest. Nice stuff, but IMO, not contest worthy. They could be good house tracks but not with these Lisa Stansfield vocals.
