KosMo KraMeRParticipantwhattup yall…i read the sticky thread by TiMG at the top of the forum and one of the ways he listed was to invert the beat with acid and then match it with the original song….which makes perfect sense…
the problem is, i got acid pro and i don’t really know how to “invert” (or “flip”) the instrumental….can someone help me out here?

Rodrigo in Brazil.:)ParticipantI can! If you have Sound Forge, open the instrumental file and the original one. Select the instrumental file a choose "Process", and then "Invert/Flip". That’s it! Then just mix it with the original song and it should cancell the instruments. Remember: the instrumental and original must be 100% identical.

Then just mix it with the original songHow to mix’em both? Could you explain this please? Thanks

after you invert your file (whether you’re inverting your instrumental or the regular version, it doesn’t matter as long as you only invert ONE), lay them over eachother in ACID in identical spots (match up the Intrumental snares, kicks, and hi-hats with those of the regular song) and it will work. but like he said, the intrumental must be 100% identical with the original song; identical frequencies and all. If so, then it will work
