This track is a bit of a mix up between hard house and epic trance. I made this song using the vocals from the twonk song. This is a first mix which i am going to edit a few things on but please have a listen and let me know what you think. Enjoy.

The mixing here is pretty good. Tune & beat go well together to some extent. Vocals sound good. I would like to see a radio cut as the sounds begin to get a little repitive and tiresome later in the track.
All in all, nice stuff, keep up the work Smilie_PDT

p.s. the vocals are from the same guy who rebuild insomnia of faithless?

Dark stuff Smilie_PDT
After the break with the voice it feels like its all colliding melodywise

Love the disted kick Smilie_PDT

at 2:26 it feels like an entirely different theme, would be nice to bridge it a little more. at 3:20, the synthline that gets introduced needs some pitch changes, the top one ends at incorrect pitches.

Could be a cool track, but it needs some sorting out since it feels like theres two tracks playing at the same time at times right now

Thanks dude thats the sort of feedback i need. I dont really know any technical stuff never had anyone to teach me and my studio consists of a pc hooked up to a hifi thats all and some decks. I just got hold of fruity loops 5 and played around with it till i was happy with the sound. What do you mean by bridge it. Sorry if i sound like an idiot but theres only one way to learn. I agree with Pontus. The ideas are all there, but they dont really flow or joion properly as each idea is not always in a similar key.

I can also tell, straight off, which samples that come bundled with FL, you have used, so you might want to think about downloading some new kick drums etc.

FL is a powerfull program if used with the right effects, vst's and samples Smilie_PDT If you need some major help using FL then Jforce is your man, but me and crin are about as well if you need us.

Overall I think you understand the concept of how to create a track, but you lack the musical understanding to link it all together, as there were a few weird chords that were out of key and did not fit with the overall track. Nothig awfull though.

If you got any questions, give me a shout, but overall nice track.

Well done Smilie_PDT

Np Smilie_PDT
Bridge means basically making two parts of a musical piece fit together. For example if you change the melody of the track somewhere the listener should be prepared for it, to fix this you can for example introduce elements of the upcoming melody before it hits the fan Smilie_PDT
So, bridge means making it all flow together better.

rinski you don't sound like an idiot. I'm in the same boat as you and so are loads more. We all have to start somewhere. That's what I love about this site, there is always numerous people who are here to help us without judging us. To be honest I get a little Embarassed asking questions, just incase someone may laugh at me or make a rude comment Smilie_PDT

Take care

Tim you are totally right about the understanding. I have ideas in my head but find it hard to get them down moving around little blocks, Im saving to get a midi keyboard. I dont fully understand all the technical things since i have never had anyone to help me learn except this web site now and its hard to figure stuff out yourself cos there is so much to learn. My kicks and perc used are stuff i've imported as well as alot of the sound effects, the main synths and tunes are FL vst's as i cant get a desent sounding vst for free off the net or get them to sound decent yet? I am a little tight with money so i gotta make do with what i got, im saving to do a small course too to teach me some basics but that will be awhile. If anyone knows a site or something i can look up which will help me out it would be great. Thanks guys. Smilie_PDT

Just keep at it (I should listen to my own advice Smilie_PDT ).
Take care

Hi Pontus. I'm not really good at making music. I'm still very new to it and really don't spend the time that I should be making my ideas better. I had a bit of fun in the house remix competion. I still need loads of practice on song structure. I've really been naughty the last couple of months, working full time dosen't leave me much time to mess around with my music, I'm spending all my free time HERE!!!! Cheesy Grin .
I've started fishing again, so that's also taking up alot of my spare time. Anyways I promised myself to-day that i'd get back into concerntrating on my music.
Take care

Val x

rinski think my wires were crossed Embarassed , no worries
