Mate this track is AWESOME!!!!!!
I still cant get over the great tune, trancy & angelic, I loved this...you got true skill.
The vocals are really well done too. Great work, please keep this style up!!

by the way what did u use for ur sounds? I've always wanted to produce my own stuff like this instead of just using rip offs of other tracks

Thanks Smilie_PDT

I did the entire track in FL Studio 5.

The pad came from: Cheese Machine (a free plugin designed to emulate string pads and warmth)

Some effects and a sine wave to layer up the pad came from: Superwave

Most of the arps and a few effects etc. came from: Vanguard

The massive trance lead same from: Z3ta+ (an awesome dance synth)

Drums and percussion: .wav samples

Piano: 4FrontPiano Module (a free piano plugin thats slightly richer that FL Keys)

Reverb: Waves Trueverb (convulsion reverb)

Compression and limiting: Waves Rcomp, Waves Rvox, Waves C4, Waves L2, Classis Compressor (free)

I think I have basically summed up what I used, but if anyone has any other question, please feel free to ask Smilie_PDT

Is anyone interested in doing a remix? Just wondered, because I can create and upload an acapella if you want?

Well, vocals are being re-recorded today with a C1000, which makes a change too the crappy dynamic mic I used. I will run all the vocals through melodyne ect. and post a new radio edit as soon as possible Smilie_PDT

9 downloads, and 1 feedback ? :S

Hey..
Sounds good. I like the percussion, it pushes the track along nicely. Pad is lush. and lead is cool.
The vocals are fine but i think i would like to hear them more upfront in the mix. Plus I'm struggling to hear the bass.

Other than that, cool tune.

Well I am going to re-record asap. Cheers Fresh and Val. Yeah Fresh, the EQ is all wrong, once the vocals are re-recorded I will re-master/mix it and post a radio edit of about 3 mins 30. Smilie_PDT

Tim, my God this is fantastic. I really do hope you get this out on vinyl, you desreve it. There are a couple of established producers around here so I really do hope they take a listen and guide you in the right way to getting this out into the clubs. As I'm not really good at producing, I can't really find any fault with this track. Well bloody done mate!!!!!!!!!

Nice intro, very Euro sounding, nice percussion, teh clap could be a little phatter , but overall have a good sound.
I'm not a big fan of the main synth, sounds a bit too 'square' , but I guess it's pretty good for SuperWav ;)

Well. Overall it's a nice listen, kinda sounds a bit emty at times, but you did a very good job on it Smilie_PDT cheers!

DJ Ikonic, you have once again proved yourself as a supurb producer. You really deserve this beautiful mix to be released on vinyl.
The radio cut is exceptional. The only downside to the work is a sort of fuzzy sound in the radio edit at around 3:30 and sometimes throughout the track that doesnt sound too nice when pumped on my speakers.

That is the only dispointing thing on the track. I was really disapointed to find all those crackles, I will have ago at removing them though. I suppose the crackles of vinyl and such that a few more will be hardly noticeable?

Vocals need a tiny work so there is 1 more version to come Smilie_PDT

I like the idea, the melody sounds good and the vocals are nice but for some reason i just dont feel it if you know what i mean. You get those songs where you just can help but move and you get some where you just put them on as background music, to me this is kinda in between. Im not saying its bad, its great but i just think there is something missing put i cant pin point what it is, its sort of emptyish, ithink if you can fill that spot you will have a club hit. Well done mate better than i can do Smilie_PDT .
