who is better?
acid or live?
i am a newbie and i would read your idea.
i think that acid is more professional, ma is very nervouse for me when i try to adding a vocal track, he change tempo, dont read good bpm without pitch, live read this good is more easy and now i have a big dilemmma...
what of this two i must use?
tks all,

I used acid for 2.5 years but now only use it as a "sketch pad" for ideas due to its ability to use mp3s but Ableton wins hands down.
It takes a bit of getting used to, but the learning curve is well worth it as it can do everything that acid can and much more.
For the "warp" feature alone it rules
I suppose it's also a case of what you want to do with it .. if its just a case of laying an acapella over an instrumental then go acid, but if you want to give your mixes a twist then its Ableton
Hope this helps |

| i reckon live. it sounds a bit better also when you render it also. hmm but maybe you should use acid first and then try live when you are used to that since its similar set up but more tricky to get the hang of |

| I heard Acid 4.0 is an excellent program, but I own Albeton Live 3.4 so I would go with that program just based off of what I have. 'm still learning the ropes of the program though. It's nice especially if I hook up my Yamaha Motif Rack and Triton Studio 76 keyboard up to it. Sounds galore my man! |
