Crunk music doesn't have to be all-southern.
basically crunk music is hip-hop just
slower
more aggresive
and louder

OK - i have everything 2gether - i'll post the matches up in a little while
hopefully i'll have time to upload all of the acapellas today. but first i'm going to check if i can give u all a few bonus credits & u can just download the acapellas off of the server - that would make it much much easier for me. u all just have to remember that if we do it like that its your responsibility to use that credit to download the acapella i assign u.

to clear some stuff up -

you must use the acapella i will assign you. you are welcome to use any other vocal samples, instrumenta.ls, sounds of your own, etc. as long as you identify what you've used when you post your mix. i am giving you party type tracks but you can do any type of mix you like - ALL STYLES WELCOME
***keep in mind that these are not all slow tracks (80-95bpm) - some hip hop beats are in the hundreds

you will have 10 days to complete your track and post it in the topic that i will make for you in the Hip Hop section (your name will be in the title of the topic).

after all mixes are in i'll start a poll for each match/topic & anyone will be allowed to vote. winners move on.

the 2nd round will be the 10 remaining from the 1st round - there will be new acapellas given for this round......and so on (Hopefully you get it by now).

we should really introduce a penalty of some sort for not posting a mix, something to make ppl think before signing up for these competitions, cuz its not fair when someone puts alot of work into a song then has to live with advancing by default. I don't know what it could be...but maybe you could come up with something juno...am I alone in thinking this???

i was thinking the exact same thing just yesterday. its a good idea. when you dont turn in a mix you're wasting peoples time. unless he/she has a good excuse, you should take away like 3 download credits or something.

yeah a credit reduction is a great idea aaj2006 I was thinking something along the lines of this. That would basically drill into their heads that these competitions are a serious matter, and not something to be taken advantage of. There are alot of top DJ's out there that prolly didn't get to be in this competition, and would of gladly filled in the gap for the ppl that didn't submit a mix. I really push for a credit reduction system!

yeah, seems that the confirmation PM didnt do much good. i'm going to try something else next time probably.

i'm going to kinda hang for the next day or two to see if anyone else will submit a mix - JonathanP has asked for a small extension b/c of PC problems. i'll get the poll votes up for matches that are complete probably today so u can start voting.
