My comp which is my main/producing PC is in the shop. What is the official deadline so I can get prepared and execute quickly when my comp gets fixed?

we should really introduce a penalty of some sort for not posting a mix, something to make ppl think before signing up for these competitions, cuz its not fair when someone puts alot of work into a song then has to live with advancing by default. I don't know what it could be...but maybe you could come up with something juno...am I alone in thinking this???

i was thinking the exact same thing just yesterday. its a good idea. when you dont turn in a mix you're wasting peoples time. unless he/she has a good excuse, you should take away like 3 download credits or something.

yeah a credit reduction is a great idea aaj2006 I was thinking something along the lines of this. That would basically drill into their heads that these competitions are a serious matter, and not something to be taken advantage of. There are alot of top DJ's out there that prolly didn't get to be in this competition, and would of gladly filled in the gap for the ppl that didn't submit a mix. I really push for a credit reduction system!

yeah, seems that the confirmation PM didnt do much good. i'm going to try something else next time probably.

i'm going to kinda hang for the next day or two to see if anyone else will submit a mix - JonathanP has asked for a small extension b/c of PC problems. i'll get the poll votes up for matches that are complete probably today so u can start voting.

sorry to keep u guys hangin - when the weekend comes u wont see me around here as much. I'm closing the polls right now - theres a few things to get together, then we'll kick off the next round.

i had a lot of feedback from ppl saying that the pellas that i gave them were too slow Shocked . well i'll keep that in mind but you guys have to remember that the backdrop for this comp is Southern style vocals which most of the time are at a not-so-regular speed. great mixes in this round from everyone! & I cant wait to see how this thing will turn out. One

I ran this one by Juno but he asked me to run it by everyone in the comp!!! Has anyone got any objections to me standing in for one of the no shows??? The thing is that I was on my honeymoon when The comp was started and I didnt get a chance to sign up!!! Let me know what you guys think?

I would like to take part if everyone is ok with it? Maybe I could get in on the next round or put a mix up against the three that go through on default????? I dont know!! we can smooth out the finer details if the answer is yes.....

Personally I don't see it being a problem, but I think this is definately for Juno or another mod to decide. More the merrier in my opinion.
