Hey beats alliance, change of plan cos theres people still wanting to enter im not adding people to the table until the first rounds over, that way whoever submits a mix on that day is in, and it stops me having to update every 5 mins. Hope you understand bro

Just downloaded the song on iTunes to get some ideas. When I was the sample pack I didn't realise that this was a remix, it looked like someone had collected some samples that we had to use in our tune thingy lol

Hi guys. Have any of you managed to find the whole or even half an acapella for this track, besides the one on this site by Greed? As I have no idea how to extract vocals from a track, if any of you know where to get a decent pella, please please can you tell me where I can download it from.
Many thanx

Val x

Guys.. correct me if i'm wrong but.. aren't we just supposed to make a track with the samples provided.... not a remix of "Pump up the volume"!! Were trying to see who can create something decent with the limited amout of samples!?

I also have a question that wasn't in the details in the first post.

Does the track have to be an extended version or can it be a radio edit???

What ever you want bro, im really leaving most of this up to you guys to decide what you personally want to create. Im just providing a few samples to start people off.

It won't hurt adding a couple more vocals. When you think about it we're all adding extra sounds. Why not vocals? Smilie_PDT

I would like to just say to anyone entering the comp. that we're looking for something that could be released, so uhm, no need to go re-creating the old 80's bpm of the original.

and to all of you moanin' - get a life ;) - either enter or don't. period.

Whats as old 80's Bpm? I started off mine at 114bpm becuase it fitted the the: "pump up the volume dance dance!" sample perfectly, I was then told that I needed to make it faster eg. 120-130 bpm. Whats correct! :S
