Never got into the grime scene, the more I listen to it the more I wonder why it is assosiated at all with garage, sure youve always had the minimalist producers like EL-B but where the f*ck did grime pop up from all of a sudden :S Im thinking it all went a bit wrong when Pay as you go came onto the circuit and (x) crews followed all bringing more and more attitude and numbers until everything was predominatly MC based.
Let wiley have his own way class it all as eskimo and get it away from our scene which was at one time all about the champagne and good vibes.
To be honest the last garage record I brought was todd edwards - new trends ages ago, I dont follow the scene anymore at all to be honest, EZ on kiss is bout the only bearable show really. |
