Reply To: Ableton Live DJs

I DJ in Live. I started using it for production a while back, and then started doing remixes in it, and then started doing remixes with it live, and then realized that I might as well just try doing a DJ set with it. I partnered up with a friend of mine who has much more traditional DJ experience, and our skill sets compliment really well. I know Live inside and out, and he’s got much better DJ intuition.

In short, I think Live’s great for DJing (although I’ve never DJed with anything else, so what do I know?), but I really think it’s great for anything else, too.
