the first track is "Sincerely yours" by DJ Kaos released on GO MENTAL...
the second two, I`m not sure if your after the tune name or the mixes... so...
I have it on vinyl, but its half 3 in the morning so am not putting it on..lol
firstly, its called "Cloudy daze" by BANG.. and I`m not sure wot the mixes are.......actually, hold on, I`ve just listened to it again, both the mp3s of the second track, are the same track.. doh...
sooo its either the ORIGINAL BANG MIX or the (dj) HAM MIX... cos thats definatly it, its just that there are two mixes on the vinyl... oh, and that was released on NEXT GENERATION records... which is DJ Brisks label...
I dont know how much you know about the UK hardcore scene, but I`d suggest you check out the FANTAZIA website, it has quite a good indepth history of UK dance... if you want more stuff like that, just gis a shout and I`ll point you in the rite direction...
two similar sounding tunes, are "Sweet desire" by DJ Kaos on Go mental and "Love so deep" by DJ Huxley also on go mental...
actually Go mental was a damn good label in its day... ok I`ll shut up now...+ |

Awesome! Thanks much!
edit: what is the fantazia website, and how do I get there? I don't know a whole lot about the UK Hardcore scene(I wish I did) but I love the music. For example, check out last week's ACIDplanet Podcast: http://www.acidplanet.com/podcasts
Also, I saw Scott Brown, Reid Speed, and Hixxy play at this party we threw last summer and I fuxin loved it.....so tight.
Love that s**t... |

I said id finish this so... A quick history of core... Happyharcore started in 1994,with Slipmatts SMD3AA (a remix of a piano house track)...
anything before that is either hardcore/acid house/rave/piano house...
The first happy tracks as we know them appear from 1995/1996.. most stuff before that is more jungle based...
1997 IS the best year for `Happy` hardcore...
1998 things start to harden up a bit, with producers wanting to move away from the cheesy `Toytown` sound...
1999-2003 see`s DJs experimenting with trance style hardcore (not the best its been, personally I wouldnt bother with owt from those years)...
2004- see`s a new rise in core, with trance and hard dance been incorporated, which gets us to where we are today...
The main DJs and their labels to check out are... Hixxy-Raverbaby/Hardcore till I die or HTID.. Breeze & Styles.. also on raverbaby...
Scott Brown-Evolution..
SY-Quosh
Dougal-Essential platinum
Brisk-next generation
Robbie long-Thin & Crispy records..(His stuff tends to be really `tight`)...
The main UK cd`s are Bonkers-Hardcore Heaven-Clubland Extreme Hardcore-Hardcore nation... (keep upto date with them and you shouldnt miss a trick)
Must have Old school cds are Bonkers vol 1-2-3 hardcore heaven vol 1 & 2 (the originals from 1997) cos there have been 3 versions... Helter skelter cds are a great way to get old remixes...
e-bays a good place to look for them...
should only cost a few quid... never pay more then £15/20 quid for a mint condition rare hardcore vinyl.. cos I`ve heard of people selling cheap vinyls to Americans for a couple of hundred...
main event holders are -helter skelter-hardcore heaven-dreamscape-slammin vinyl...
check out `ush.net` tons of links there..
from those few things, you should be able to find all the DJs and producers, labels etc... from the uk scene atleast...
Saves you typing hardcore into a search engine and getting a hundred p*rn links... lol now if the page crashes before I post this, then I truly give up..
But hope that helps....+ |

Well, TBH I knew most of that - I meant that I wanted to know more about the european style of HHC and where they're at NOW. I have been a Hixxy, Breeze & Styles, Anabolic Frolic, Scott Brown, you name it fan for just about ever, but I didn't realize you guys had the same influences across the pond. Most of my influences were ones that were through massives here in the midwest, and a few down under in Australia (hullabaloo, etc) where I used to partay. Thanks for the heads up though, and I'll keep those labels in mind while I continue to amass a nice collection of HHC. |

The only european hardcore that I`ve heard has been the stuff that Scott brown plays, ie Neophyte, Megatron.. other stuff to give one a headache lol...
but then with the big names here, theres never really been a commercial space for them... tho event holders are starting to introduce a few european names into their events... lol its not that we have the same influences here in the uk, its that happy hardcore started here.. so you can talk to any uk peep about Hixxy, Dougal..etc.. cos they live here.. and I wrote all that for nowt...lol... |
