Here is a goodie... the Art of noise and there infamous "orchestra hit". It came from a track called "Kool Is Back" by the band Funk, Inc. The drum break from the song (as well as the "hit") can also be found in the Yes song, "Owner of a Lonely Heart"
And how did this show up in a Yes song? That album was produced by Trevor Horn. Trevor Horn was a founding member of the Art of Noise.
Just food for thought.
