Reply To: Bon Jovi vs. Aretha Franklin – Prayer of Pride

Hey B&M–solid production, across the board. I’m not sure these two tracks belong together, but what do I know? I think the mix might benefit from a more ‘dramatic’ breakdown, some kind of isolation of the vocals, or a mix of one vocal, limited rhythm/percussion from the other track… not sure. There’s a tension between the two separate songs here (in a good way), that needs to be resolved in a more satisfying manner – but I’m coming from the position of a more commercial/mainstream listener.

No matter what, this track shows you’ve got some serious skills. Keep it up…
