| For those of us that have missed being able to enter the "rounds" of the current competitions, are there going to be any one-offs that we can enter? |

We've (the Staff) decided to can the previous House Remix Comp and start from scratch. Mainly because there was too many missing details to deal with trying to reorganize the system DJ Caned had set up - I had too many other commitments then so I didnt really have enough time to step in & run a couple of comps at once. Some of you know that I do the Hip Hop competitions here - I'm waiting until the current comp is finished so I can move over here for a little while & get a solid house competition running. This isnt any maybe, it'll happen but I'd rather not give a time frame b/c I usually dont make it.

Tim just think of the last 2 rounds being practice  (Not that any of you needed it, only I did  ) I must admit I have done nothing on the music front since then so I no I haven't improved. I'm spending all my free time here on the site

I have noticed funny trend on this forum; people who really care about this forum and the comp, and those who are just here to leach and try and win.
I think its a massive shame that these people spoil are comps by pulling out, not voting and generally being awkward, its a massive shame  |

I think generally the voting threads are quite hard to read. They go on for many pages, sometimes going offtopic, so to read all if it takes a great deal of time.
Perhaps there could be a new forum created for each competition, where each entry starts its own thread and discussions can happen for each mix. Then, when it comes to voting a new new post which is sticky has a voting poll on it.
Just an idea.. feel free to shoot it down |

| Yeah, soudns good to me, it can be really hard. I noticed alot in the last comp, how un-organised finding all the mp3's etc. became! |
