RudeX, I've never used a DJM-909, thats an Ecler Smilie_PDT It was a toss up between this one and the xone. I was interested in the on board effects of this one and not so much the filters as I can run either or both decks thru an elextrix filter queen.

Stanton just brought out a new cd deck which is cheaper and supposed to be the dogs bits. Looks a little like a cdj scrunched up

Here's a couple of pics from my old studio, (I didnt paint it lol) which i'm in the middle of moving from. I dont have any close-up pics of the gear though, but there was a pc running cubase + plugs, vsti's (still are), Soundcards - M-Audio Audiophile, EMU APS, Yamaha Pro Mix 01 mixer(changed to roland vm3100 pro mixer), AKG C3000 mic with behringer preamp, roland d50 master keyboard, jv1010, oberheim ob-12, emu orbit, some old korg modul, couple of the cheap behringer fx's (+compressor) , and alesis monitor one with samson amp. Turntable, cd etc.

And a FAN (very important) Smilie_PDT

Have sold some of the stuff, but most are still there, so i'm just waiting to pick it up and move in to a new studio space i've got.

I run a midi cable from the mixer which syncs the BPM of the decks to Ableton Live. Thinking about adding some extra controllers for more control.

U posh cant! lol (spoken in true Maxwell of BigBrother style)

If you fancy triggering some samples over the top of your sets from within Live ordio look into Trigger finger from M-Audio.. I mean that kinda thing might bot be your bag exactly but it will combine more of a showy element to your sets and (as to be expected from M-Audio) all those pads and faders = configurabubble.. lol @ speklling

Mind me asking how much 'what we see in that piccY" actually cost?

I've been called worse Cheesy Grin

CDJ's and mixer cost me around £2100. I was looking at getting a trigger finger actually, I was after an mpc style controller to do drum programming and then a mate give me my old Yamaha SU10 sampler back which i'd forgotten all about. I've been using that for drums and for triggering. I do like the look of the iControl surface they've got out though.

The only other equipment I use is a Yamaha CS1x keyboard as a midi controller and an Edirol UA-5 audio interface.

As I promised, here are some pics of my studio. It's underway, and it's pretty dark for my mini-cam, so it doesn't look like much. It will look nicer with some brighter lighting. Enjoy!

Here you can see my:
Roland MC-303, AKAI S-5000, Sony VAIO for RECORDING ONLY, Monitor, and Ghetto cordage.

Here is:
The right half of my monitor, and my Numark PT-01 portable turntable.

This is:
My M-Audio Radum49 keyboard, to the right of my desk. Note that it is USB connected....wow.

Close up of my MC-303

Here is my mixer and...nevermind.

An overview...

My tables are to my left....over there behind some records.

I'll take some pictures when I've got the party started down here, but for right now I just need better lighting, some touch-up painting, and a lot of cleaning...and maybe some carpet. Peace!
