I’ve heard this song for years – all the way back to the damn high school homecoming dances (yep, its that type of track)
Its sounds semi-old skool, has a breakbeat/RnB sound, female vocalist, & the beat is driven mostly by the hats & bassline.

Break comes in, then a whistle, then the chorus starts…..
Chorus is something like: “Set it off I suggest yall, Set it off I suggest yall, set it off” (repeat) “Set it off on the left yall, Set it off on the right yall, set it off” (repeat)
