| This is Caesars - Jerk It Out, very catchy beat but is it just me or does anyone think this was sampled from somewhere else, Im sure I´ve heard it somewhere, its very old but classic summer catchy beat! Let me know ppl thanks. |

Yeah, definitely a good track. Cant isolate the beat though. The tamborines could be added, and I'm thinking its an actual drummer...

It sounds to me very much like the Mary Mary breakbeat, sampled from the first bar of Mary Mary - The Monkees, but I'm not certain Betty Boo actually sampled the break (just listened to that track too).
The Mary Mary break has been used in a lot of tunes, but it is quite a common drum pattern ... I think The Caesars are backed by a live drummer who has replicated the sound of the Mary Mary break. Also though the Mary Mary break has probably been toughened up in many tunes by use of production methods and adding extra drum hits behind it etc to beef it out cause the sample I have from The Monkees sounds quite weak ... I remember playing the original off CD years ago though and thinking "wow thats a phat break, and I recognise that!", so maybe its what you're hearing in the Caesars track  |

| as far as the inspiral carpets are concerned check out their tune "dragging me down" you ll notice the synth being "replayed" by the jerkers... off to download mary now |

| hehe i tried stereo mcs in stead.. it should be easily found on most p2p he mary track... be sure to search for monkees - mary mary rather then "monkeys" and yes that thing i put up uses the actual mary mary loop from the starrt of the track, thats why the beat is on one channel i couldnt be arsed putting it on two.. i made the beat a little heavier using some equeing... |

| I got it but cannot find the guitar riff, did they only sample the drum loop at the start? I´ve listened to this song so much I just heard it on radio now and seems like it was produced badly compared to my first hear, since I can hear all the backin singing n shti now. Lol. |

| Jerver would you not consider making a full mix, its great what you did with the jerk_out_mary mp3. How long did that take you and what program you use? You didnt make the backing beats did you? Did ya just place the Mary beat over the Caesars one yea? Any chance of a full mix I reckon it wud be fcukin amazing! |

| this took me about 20 minutes in acid .. but mind you i m working on a project involving the caesars so i had some jerk it out bits acapella and i more or less isolated the guitar wah, the organ loop is easily seperated form the tune it s self the beats are taken directly form mary mary (hence them being on one channel...).... to remove the beats form the various caesar parts i used goldwav... |

| Lol how bad singers are they... I put it in VDJ and cancelled out the vocals and you can hear them singing still. Very badly lol, amazing what technology can do now lol. |
