Protools TDM Mix or HD (If you can afford it) if latency is your issue this is your best chance of solving it also the MOTU firewire interfaces are exceptional, DIGI002 is a very nice box but I’ve heard of latency problems with these also.
Protools also makes a 2 in 2 out budget option called M-Box which is usb and oh so portable.
Also if you use rewire the protools implimentation is super stable.
