Reply To: what soundcards do you guys use?

uhh okay i feel stupid but I just got this old PC from my parent’s house and dont have a clue what kind of soundcard it has. Its probably not that good so my question is: if i bought a different sound card would it greatly improve my recording quality?

Right now I just have RCAs coming from my mixer with a stereo jack converter that i have plugged in to the “Line in”.

I’m not really using any midi at this point mainly b/c my keyboard is a POS. So any suggestions guys?
