I have loved this stuff since about 1997, and have been Dj'in it almost 5 years now.

I would love to hear any little hardcore tidbits you people may have come up with, it seams there a MANY tallanted producers on this forum.

To get the ball rolling ill upload a little bit of a Re-Mix im currently working on...

Ok, I almost forgot I had this.
Its a remix of my remix.... (Smilie_PDT) done by a mate of mine. He is actually one of the Great NZ Hardcore Djs.

I actually prefer this remix to my own one. Pity it will never be completed, the doofis deleted the reason files for it.

Oh, and now that im actually adding more tunes, maybe this thread would be better off in the "Other" section of the Test Pressing" Forums

Nothing? that’s a little bit disappointing. I was having a look in the introductions forum the other day and saw that there were actually a few Hardcore Dj's/Producers that came here looking acapellas...

WHERE ARE YOU ALL?

We definitely have different ideas of what hardcore is. I lean towards Stunned Guys, Dr Z-Vago, Masochist, Alienator, et al.
What you got is like a cross between happycore and epic trance. Not so sugar-rushy, but not so orchestrated. Though I definitely dig the DMX samples!
Do you produce any hard(er)core?

Yay, a Reply.

The stuff I Dj and produce is all based of Uk Hardcore / Freeform, which was the outcome of the later old "happy hardcore".

Although I do Dj the Harder Hardcore or Gabber / Speed Core / Terrorcore I haven’t actually started to produce anything like that yet. In time, I think I probably will though.

One of my fave. Gabber producers Is Micron though. What your thoughts on him?

I haven't heard of Micron before ... yet Smilie_PDT Actually, I don't think of gabber as a style of hardcore; it's more of a movement, like rave. People can't really call themselves gabbers that weren't part of the Dutch movement around 90-93, besides what would 'gabber' be? I dig the loud and heavy kicks, noise shots, and inane sampling. The masterpieces keep coming out every month. Too much fun Twisted Evil
