However, I am still not very sure if the Phase Cancellation method only works if you have an original and an instrumental tracks with exact length or does this also work with different track length?

For example, take this record’s track listing:
A1 Eat You Up (Vocal) 6:40
B1 Eat You Up (Instrumental) 5:39
B2 Eat You Up (Radio Edit) 3:30

The records contains a radio version, extended version and an instrumental version of the same song.

Will Phase cancellation still works in this case?…
