I want to attempt to make my own acapella since there is no requesting for someone to make it for me... Can someone at least tell me how and what I should do?

I want to try to make the acapella version of Switchfoot's song 'Only Hope' as well as 'First Time Ever I Saw Your Face' by David Cook.
