aaaaaaah i remember this markos. the trusty old computer music frequency chart. i'v been using this for ages. excellent post though mate. there will be quite a few people on here who don't know what computer music is, let alone buy it.
props to you!

I reckon this would be better suited to the 'Tutorials' forum.
Great info but not much use for DJing.

I dont really see it as a tutorial either, but I think its more suited here than anywhere else?
Ill see what the other mods think, maybe it should be a 'Chat & off topic' candidate.
By definition a DJ just plays music. To be a DJ you need no knowledge of frequencies
of instruments.
The closest a DJ is ever likely to get to anything like this is just knowing the key of a completed song.
A lot of DJ's are getting into production now too tho.

Very handy! Can't forget to just go with your ear in the end, but it's a great starting point.

I am new to all of this and I am just getting into mixing and producing my own music. I use Ableton Live 7 and I would like to put this chart to use how would I go about that in Live 7. Please don't be offended by my lack of knowledge we all have to start somewhere eh?
