I definitely looked at some tutorials before. As a seasoned designer now (it's my profession) the best thing I can tell you about tutorials...

Use them so you can learn the tools, but don't become dependent on the look. Don't let them dictate your style. Once you learn 'HOW' you made whatever you did, play with the techniques and apply it to other stuff.

Sometimes tuts can get real annoyin, real fast. especially if its like

"you dont wanna use this, always use this."

but i dont do that.

Those are some great looking flyers definitely. One of my buddies does my stuff, its not nearly as good but gets the job done.
