It seems to me that its a growing trend to be a duo right now, especially in the electro scene. To me it has more pros than cons.
What you you guys think? or Has anyone ever experimented with being a team? |

| I just started collaborating with a friend of mine and its much more rewarding and fun than before, and the s**t is good! It's all about having honest dialogue and opinion expressed about something, and doubling the amount of good ideas! |

Its great fun, when you really start going for it and trying to out-do each other the crowd really gets into it.
Occasionally in a club I used to play at one of the Fri night DJs would come in on a Sat
when I was playing.
We had 4 decks there and would really go for it with the live acapella mashing with
us mixing into the next tune with the previous acapella still playing over the top
then introducing a new pella or dub then swapping over the cans again.
The management were always too tight to actually pay for both of us to perform tho! |

Quick reply:
Over-rated, but highly enjoyable. Competitive but also a great learning experience, recommended.
Also...electro house is waaaaaaaayyyy late with the teams/duo thing.
Hip hop/turntablism has had this since way back when....w00t! |

| Two is always better than one in my opinion. Depending on the venue, it can be boring on your tod! especially if you need a fag! lol |

| I love doing an impromptu set, where I'll join the DJ spinning or he'll join me and we alternate tracks trying to outdo each other. Makes you dig deep into the crates. |

| yea it definitely is fun because you get to share the moment with someone, but at the same time it feels restricted because i wanna throw down an actual set but the DJ next to me wants to add his own songs each time im changing the track. fun, but sometimes irritating. |
