| Never heard of it. I just dont see how you would need mastering software when you have control of each individual channels levels and effects. When your in a studio you adjust the levels on the mixing board until they are at the right decible level. I tried to look it up but i couldnt find any info on Izotape just a site you can get it at |

| fl studio is a beast finding the tempo of acapellas are a breeze, once know the tap tempo function u can find the bpm to any acapella in like 20 seconds. You just have to experiment from trial and error to develop your own work flow. |

That it is! however it is not the greatest at slicing samples into different pieces with precision and accuracy which is why i have a wave editor program seperate that i slice my samples with and then save them into my FL Studio Packs section from which they can be fully integrated |

No need for software change! I'm using FL for 6 years, and i don't give a damn about other softwares. Many people asks me-"Why do you stuck on that FL, cmon, try to use Reason or Cubase?", or "FL is just for beginners" (<--- what pisses me off most) . Why do i need to do that? That's not like game, when u finished it, u just grab another one and start playing from beginning. Yea, i tryed Reason 3.0, but the interface is so compressed, pretty hard to use it after FL. |

| Guys i use VSTis quite a lot.I suppose in some ways im still very basic at it all.Even after all this time using (about 2 years) but say for instance i had a beat that I personally liked. It may sound like crap ,or very amateur or simple to others....but i really liked it. Whats the best of getting it mixed and stuff really good? Is there people or websites that can do stuff like that, just to let you hear what it COULD sound like. I try and mix the way i like and want it to sound. I suppose id like to hear what someone else would do with my stuff, just to hear the difference. |

| I use Fl Studio dnt give up on it Ive had it for 3 years and im still learning new things all the time the 64 track stepsequencer is the best part about it as well as its user friendly. FL8 just came out not to long ago and the Edison plug in that comes with it makes audio recording a breeze. Sytrus is GREAT you just have to learn how to use it and you can get almost any type of synth sound you would ever want. However you do need to dwnload some quality samples. However, most of the drum samples it comes with are not too bad you can manipulate them tune them and get them sounding right it requires time and a good ear as does making music itself. Theres is NO need for a mastering plug in. Fl Studio has a 64 track mixer so adjust the levels for each channell meticulously and your track will already be master. Do NOT overload your track with compresion compressing a track isnt mastering. Just a few tips stick with it youll be fine some external hardware would go good with fls quality software |
edison came out with FL Studio 7, its superb, get yourself some decent VST's, get the vengeance sample packs and your sorted, it sounds so good with decent samples im telling you, and the sidechaining is ace |
