Hi,

I absolutely suck at making beats so I am willing to pay someone to make me some break beat instrumentals, they need to be top notch though

I need about 30 tracks making and will pay 1 GBP per track, so thats 30 GBP for the lot

Please send me some samples to p.danks@yahoo.co.uk and I will let you know within 24 hours wether I think you are good enough, 30 second samples are fine but they must be unique

Thanks

I seriously doubt that anyone is going to either sell you one of their pre-existing beats or create you a new beat for that kind of money. If they do it will probably not meet your expectations.

As of March 20th 1 GBP = 1.9845 U.S Dollar

Best of luck.

one pound pertrack!!!!!!!!
and our lass thinks i'm tight.

on a serious note though, it can take hours/days to roll beats. especially ones that are gonna come under scrutiny from someone else. let me do the math

i work it out that the british minimum wage is £5.52 or so an hour ( i think its gone up now) * 30 tunes=.......

i think Pipsta better get good at making beats like ALL SERIOUS MUSICIANS DO. or get an able friend who doesn't mind working for less than peanuts

Dude, I am more than happy to collaborate with an artist as Im sure a lot of people here are, but what your offering is less than a packet of cigarettes in the country im working in!
Maybe you should share your ideas and see if there are any takers?
I would consider an 8 progression beat for maybe £20 a track.
And Im sure many people would consider that more than fair.

i'd agree chunycoldmedina. but i dont think he'll up his price by £19 p/t. collaborating with someone could help his tune writing ability too. a different persons input could make a world of difference to a finished track. not just with beat rolling but mastering aswell. and if the tune makes a name for itself it could make two artists famous instead of just the one.

now i dont know if i'm talking out of my rear here, just putting things into the pot

Sounds pretty good to me, except the possibilty of a track making a name for itself when the beat cost £1 to source Smilie_PDT
Although anyone heard Timbaland's new track (Physical)
The instrumental is a 3 sec loop from start to finish (not even a break), and the 3 seconds are about as original as an early 90's PWL beat. Its the most boring piece of production I ever heard. Rolling Eyes
I would pay only pay £1 for that!!

This is the best thread i've seen here in a long time.

needs to go in "Fun stuff" tho, someone may mistake this for a real offer....

Second thought.... thats pretty unlikely

Pipsta, this is a slight 'bend' on the usual type of content that usually gets permitted here.

Please make sure you read the Sticky post next time if you post here. I'll let this one go this time ok.

You fouled up on your subject title.

Regards,

acapella

I had to check the date of this post when I read that bit. Was wondering if it was April fools or 80 years old.

Yeah, Seanza's right--if this was 1928 £1 would buy a night out. Except it would be shillings and some s**t.

There's your answer, pipsta: invent a time machine, go back to 1928, and find the hottest beatmaker. Hell, go back to 1888 and cop some of those old, old, old school steam-powered beats.
