This is a remix of Crin's Fax me that I've been working on.
Its still needs a bit of work done (tweaks and effects ect...) but I thought I would post it as work in progress to get a bit of feedback at this stage.

I like it a lot!
The strings didn't fit the track imo. I lost the beat a bit in the long transition near the end.
Take my criticisms with a grain of salt please, because I am an amateur and I have amateur ears.
This is really good tho  |

I'm glad you said that, you confirmed what I was thinking.
I've decided to take em out now and repost this tomorrow without the strings in.
I definitely went off track by putting them in, but sitting in a dark room for days on end listening to the same loop over and over can make you do funny things sometimes. 
A bit of feedback with a fresh pair of ears is just what I needed to point me back in the right direction.

O.k, so I've got rid of the strings and completely remade the 2nd half of the track.
It still needs a proper mixdown, which I will do when I've got a whole day free to spend on it.

Now then...
Firstly I'll say I LOVE the over all vibe... it keeps the glitcy geeky thing nicely!
Over all it needs a little polish and mixing chnages but you've said that already... i'd like to see a bit more meat in that bassline... but you've already stated it need mastering work.
Specifically... I love the extra vocal... fits nicely good use of the parts but not over used.
Personally i'd leave that rising tone out... i don't even particularly like it in my original lol!
The new synth that comes in at 4 mins is nice, i'd like to see that feature earlier and then maybe change it up a bit so it doesn't get old. At nearly 8 minutes i'd sy it's a bit long, all the stuff is good, all the ideas are solid, i'd just go back maybe pay with the arrangement a bit and condense it, maybe add one definate feature where everything goes to pieces!
Overall very good job, I've got a few remies coming in on this now so who knows, if I don't sign it to a label (there's been a coupld of offers) maybe i'll do it myself!

Hi De-Fine music,
A lot of movement in your track giving the original a different twist but feel it could still get a deeper sound. I appreciate sitting in a room for hours, days and weeks etc listening to the same loops and sounds and trying to fit it in!!!!!!! 
I feel the same as Crin the new synth could be brought in earlier. lovely sound goes well - I would say it shouldnt take u much longer and Crin has an original and u have the wicked remix Well Done lads |

I like it,i also quite like the rising tone.(in the beginning)
i feel mastering will also open the track up as i feel it lacks a little bottom end.I love the second synth but i feel the high pitched squeal can get a bit much but i do see it calms down later in the track.getting a little d ramirez on our asses.well done. |

I've yet to hear it personally. I know that De-Fine's put in an entry for the ESKIMO RECORDS comp. could by reason why.

Thats exactly what happened, I got sidetracked as usaul 
I'm gonna start to dissect it this weekend though, and then I'll put it all back together again.
Shouldn't take me too long as i've got all the elements there, just think it could do with a rearrange and some processing.
I shall prioritize this now and wont open another project until it is finished.

Bump? What is this thing of which you speak?
Define... my favourite section is 3:30 to about 4:20 where you've merged your bass with my bass rather expertly. I'd make that the base of the track it sounds fit.
Pilch... did you ever listen to Itch? Your feedback would be mucho appreciato, it's looking like the pair of them might get signed in the not too distant future. |
