Calling all video editors/producers and viewers! Whether you are a viewer OR you're the video editor/producer uploading your video and making it available for thousands of members to view.
If you are an artist wishing to get your video 'out there' and receive feedback from the Acapellas4U forum community then this IS the place to do it. The video you have could be your W.I.P's (Works In Progress) but ideally we'd prefer to view the final cut.
Ok, so how do I get started?
Simple - simply post a new thread. In your thread, include any comments you have about your new video, and a link to where members can view your video. PLEASE post ONE video per thread and it goes without saying to ONLY create posts for YOUR work - no1 else's.
HOSTING YOUR VIDEO:
For your convenience we have implemented a special video display designed specifically for using with YouTube videos. When posting a new topic just click on the handy YOUTUBE button then paste your youtube video url and your video is ready to be viewed at the click of a mouse.
If your ISP provides free webspace, you can host your video there as well. Contact your ISP's help desk for info.
If you don't have your own webspace you can use services such as youtube, google video, veoh and multiply to host your videos.
Whatever hosting option you choose, viewers MUST be able to watch your video WITHOUT having to log-in or sign-up to the website. Non compliance will result in deletion!
Post your thread and it is now available for comment by forum users!
DO NOT:
Bump your thread back to the top. If there are no comments, you are NOT allowed to bump your thread back to the top.
Post multiple threads for the same video. If you have updated your video significantly, just add to your previous post. Excessive updates which are deemed to be 'bumps' by moderators, may result in your thread being removed all together.
Abuse the system, and don't take more than your fair share.
Post links to video download rips(i.e. divx) and pornographic video content. This section is not for file sharing or porn. Any member breaking this rule will be automatically banned.
DO:
Be patient! Most of us have day jobs and only limited time to view your videos.
Be humble! If your video sucks, and someone says so, don't get upset! You will learn to develop your 'glass chin' over time. It's an opinion!
Post reviews for other members' videos. Respect others and they will respect you.
We hope this results in more VIDEO REVIEWS for everyone and an even bigger and better Video Editors/Producers community forum here on Acapellas4u.
