I play dance music, mostly what is popular right now like the song low, and Please don't stop the music, anything that can get the crowd dancing.

I do 2 nights a week (Wed and Sat) in a lapdancing club playing funky/electro/commercial house (mixed!), RnB/HipHop (also mixed), classic rock (not mixed!) and anything else that takes my fancy!

I also do a Friday at a local nightclub playing RnB/HipHop and UK garage with a couple of electro house tracks (generally with Rap/HipHop acapellas over the top) thrown in for good measure!

Clubs and events I play strictly drum 'n' bass and dubstep.

I've also played different kinds of house and techno but mostly in club living room.

You play in a lapdancing club? Nice work!
Let me know if you need any cover Smilie_PDT

I currently do 6 nights a week in Bahrain which is a desert island in the Persian gulf (middle east)
I play a mixture of US hip hop, reggaeton, electro and funky house, a dash of trance and regularly a mixture of of RnB and dance club classics.

Tell ya what, I'll swap you for a bit then! Smilie_PDT

Its weird really, I can get away with playing brand new stuff in a lapdancing club that I can't get away with playing elsewhere (which, believe it or not, often has the punters up dancing too. Looks kinda weird in a lapdancing club but as long as they are having a good time and putting money over the bar the boss doesn't seem to mind)...

I work in those kind of areas where people will, 9 times out of 10, stop dancing if they hear something new, simply because they've never heard it before! Not until some tracks have already been hammered to death on the radio or TV music channels will they entertain the idea of actually dancing to it!! There are the odd exceptions though, like at the moment:
  • Sheriff Phatman - Hey Camon [Extended Mix]
  • Whigfield (yes, Whigfield!) - Think of You [Sunloverz Big Room Remix]
  • Tiao Cruz - Come on Girl [Wideboys Club Mix]

So, thank god for the exceptions is all I can say otherwise I'd get sooooo bored never playing any new stuff!

Anyways... I'm rambling now! Cheesy Grin

Ive kinda lost track of the music scene in the UK but new tracks that are working over here that are probably UK friendly;

Kelly Rowland - Work (Freemasons Mix) - I cant get enough of this one!
Cupid - 369
Missy Elliot - Ching-a-ling
Wyclef Jean vs Fatman scoop - Lie All Night (hehe, one of my mine) Smilie_PDT

Ill be sure to check out you recommendations.

I agree with the Freemasons mix of the Kelly Rowland track, its a great party track. Although personally I do feel that the before and after part of it are far, far too long and too repetative but that seems to be bit of a trend with many Freemasons mixs/tracks... they love making them 9+ minutes!
