hey i know this question has probably been asked bout a million times, but wot programs are out there to make ur own beats?
i know Fruity loops,
and i tried Cakewalk Project 5 but that was too complicated...
so wot else is there?
wots the easiest to use? (i think FL is good for beginniners)

cheers for the info mate.
i've been makin bootlegs and sendin them into bbc but some kinda regulation means they cant play bootlegs unless i get copyright permission off the original artist, so i thort its about time i make my own beats..
just got my hands on acid and FL, will install and give them a go 2moro.. |

| I use RedRum in Reason, then save the beat for use in other progs, as the facility to create several patterns allows for beat breakdowns and flams. |

Man I've been looking for MPC sounds for a while now. Good looking out/ I downloaded some of them including the Factory Presets for the MPC1000. One question, I haven't unzipped them yet but are all of these in .wav format? |
