Ok, I want to make an acapella of a bunch of green day songs. I want to know, is it possible to do in Audiacity? If so can someone teach me? and if not, can someone direct me to a FREE program that can and THEN teach me?

The only thing i can think of in Audacity is the karaoke way. Sorry, but i do not think it is possible with it.

I understand that it's alot to ask for but it would seem there would be at least ONE editor that was free (or hell, even a 30 day trial with a save function) that would work. I just don't have enough money to

A) donate to the site
B) buy 100 dollar programs

Im 16, but in a wheelchair so jobs are extremely difficult. Again, help would be greatly appriciated.

Theres tons of advice in the forums here on creating acapellas.
You will find everything you need here on the science of creating DIY pellas.
I could teach you now but I would only be re-writing what Ive learnt here.

You can use audacity so long as the vocal is centered in the mix. Just split a stereo track into two mono tracks and invert one of them. This will get rid of the vocals if they are centred, you can then invert that track and mix it with a mono version of the song
Failing that, install the VST bridge for it(available from their site), and then use kn0ck0ut (google it)

I can't help with knockout, its just a plugin I've heard mentioned a few times on here, but to split a stereo track into two mono tracks, simply click the title, then click split track (see image below)
