In order to keep the site active, fresh, streamlined and sign up once never be seen again attitude, from both a community based & administrational point of view, we will regularly delete members on a regular basis.

Members WILL be removed if you fall into any of these 3 categories:-

1) Members who have never after a month of registering ( we assume you just want to leech & have no interest in being involved within the forum )
2) Members who've not activated their account after 2 wks ( lose your connection after pressing submit? )
START OF UPDATE
3) Users who have less than an avarage of 1 post for every 10 days while registered, excluding new users from the past 30 days.
END OF UPDATE

You'll get an email informing you what actions to take IF you wanna sign up again.

This thread basically reflects what we originally spelt out in our original "Mission Statement" - something we strongly stand by. So you know why you've suddenly lost your access to the pellas one day if this happens to you.

The stats don't lie :-: they paint a lovely picture of members & their habits

acapella & _bi0

As a new member I think this can only be a good idea!

This is a great site and hopefully this will stop people "leeching" from it.

I was that impressed I made a paypal donation as soon as my account was activated a few weeks ago!

Keep up the good work guys! Smilie_PDT

I think I agree, but to what?

"Members who have never....."
.....never WHAT?

I just hope whatever it is that I did it 'after a month of registering'.... Rolling Eyes

more than "a good idea" itīs actually the only way to regulate memberships, iguess. I canīt really spend as much time on the net and in the forum as I would like to, but as it is, we all know all members with a real interest do have enough oprtunity to stay active. me 100 percent and ok with all forum rules, and this asskicking site has got all of my respect... Makes sense to me, too. This users only use the bandwith from this site and give nothing in return!

i'd have to disagree with this one, i sometimes go long periods without posting, but im still very active and log on to the site frequently.. i just enjoy browsing the forums and reading what people have to say but dont really post unless its in the "help" section where someone asks a question i can answer

does that make me a redundant member? surely not?

and im sure many other people do the same as me

perhaps pruning users that dont log onto the site for > 1 month is more appropiate?

thats my two cents anyways Smilie_PDT
