Yeah, absolutely. The samplepack vox are along the "house" genre. I wouldn't let the whole "genre" thing worry you guys too much though.

The judges will give extra 'brownie points' to those of you who genre-jumped to specially make a 2-minute mix..

I'm really feeling you guys...

I mean, I mostly deal with ol' school / new school hip hop and r&b, but this remix competition puts me out of my comfort zone. I like that! Gives me a chance to broaden my horizons.

So just for the record...my remix piece might be a little out there--I'm talking OUT THERE, cause I mostly produce hip-hop beats. What the hell, might give us all something to laugh at :lol:

Good on you Mel - nice one !! It's refreshing to have someone who's not confined by genre. I myself have been guilty of this in the past being predominantly a house producer - I have a lot of friend who are right into hip hop and these days I do try to make the occasional hip hop / trip hop piece. Usually gives my firends something to chuckle at !!!
Perhaps we can team up and make a hip house tune sometime ... !!

sorry for not competing in your compitions after the effort you've gone through, but i was not feeling those samples, i did expect a full acapella as i do D+B,R+B s
