Application Procedure:
Application is online. Each artist is requested to submit to application_puzzleproject@yahoo.com the following:
Visual arts:
- CV
- Portfolio including maximum 5 photos of artworks or artistic projects
- Sketch of the project to be presented within the "Conflict?" theme
There is a great advantage for this section, given by the building itself: the wall next to the entrance was "sliced" into rectangles by the builders. Each rectangle is 3m long and 1,60m wide.
NB: organizers will provide the necessary material.
Music:
- CV of the band
- Demo/3 songs
NB: musicians are to bring their own instruments. Sound equipment is to be provided.
Film:
- Director's CV
- Synopsis (10 – 15 lines) and info concerning the participation of the film in other festival/s and/or events
- a trailer of the film will be uploaded on http://www.youtube.com and the link is to be sent by email to the specified address
Theater:
- CV of the group
- Portfolio including 2 scripts and photos
- Sketch of the play to be performed within the "Conflict?" theme
- Synopsis of the play (maximum 1 page)
- Your reason in participating at this event (maximum 1 page)
- A short film with a part of the play (maximum 15 minutes) is to be uploaded on http://www.youtube.com and the link is to be sent by email to the specified address
Maximum length per play: 50 mins - 1 hour
All performances will be out stage, taking into account that the venue does not comply with professional sound requirements.
Sound & lighting equipment is to be provided by the hosts.
The venue:
The Puzzle Project "Conflict?" is hosted by the open air bar "La Motoare", on top of the National Theater in Bucharest, Romania. There are more than 1000 clients per day at the open air bar
Financial details:
Accomodation (B&B) and lunch is supported on a daily basis for both foreign and Romanian artists during the whole project. Other expenses such as travel expenses, daily allowance etc are to be supported by the participants themselves. Artists are expected to arrive Tuesday, June 19th 2007. Further details concerning transfer from the airport will be provided. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!Each application that actually takes part to the event is to be granted with a fee. !!!!!!!!!!!!
